Jewellery care:
To maintain the beauty of your items please remove items before exercising, swimming and showering. Please be sure to avoid contact with harsh chemicals perfumes, lotions, makeup or hair products, as these may damage the layer of metal plating and will cause tarnishing or discolouration. 

Where should I keep my jewellery?
All Biella Vintage Jewellery is delivered in a Biella Vintage Jewellery Box, which is both reusable and recyclable. Please love them and keep your favourites safe in the Biella Vintage jewellery boxes provided. 

Can I shower with my jewellery on?
It is best not to shower with your jewellery on. Please remove before swimming and showering.

What materials are used?
All Biella Vintage items are made of individual metals/materials. Please see the product description for further information.

Gold-plated jewellery:
 18K Gold-plated jewellery describes the electroplating process of depositing a thin layer of 18K Gold onto the surface of the base metal, such as brass or stainless steel. 
Gold-filled jewellery:
18K Gold-filled jewellery describes the mechanical process in which a base metal, usually brass, is covered with sheets of gold.
Silver-plated jewellery:
Silver-plated jewellery describes the electroplating process in which a thin layer of .925 Sterling Silver over a base metal such as stainless steel.
Stainless steel:

Stainless steel is commonly used as a base metal in the gold and silver plating process that is known for its 'anti-corrosion' characteristics.

Jewellery allergies:
Each persons oils make metal react differently, if discolouration occurs it may be due to skin-metal oil reaction. In this case, it is not our responsibility to refund or exchange your item. 

Some people can have a sensitivity to some plating, most commonly nickel-plating which is used to colour gold and sometimes used in the electroplating process. If you are aware of a jewellery allergy we advise you to choose a hypoallergenic material, and please be aware that  it is not our responsibility to refund or exchange your item knowing you have pre-existing allergies or sensitivities. 

My jewellery is changing colour, what should I do?
 For best care, do not shower with your items and avoid getting them wet. Please remove before exercising, swimming and showering. 
If your items do change colour, it can be cause by a metal-to-skin oil reaction. In this case, it's not our responsibility to refund or exchange your item.

We stock US ring sizes 6, 7 & 8

Size 6 - 16.4mm diameter, 51.50mm circumference 
Size 7 - 17.3mm diameter, 54.32mm circumference
Size 8 - 18.2mm diameter, 56.83mm circumference

How to measure your rings size:
1. Wrap a string or paper around the base of your finger.
2. Mark the point where the ends meet/cross.
3. Unwrap the string or paper and measure length with a ruler (mm).
4. Pick the closest measurement for the ring size 7 or 8 to find your ring size.
